RITU IN STONE
There are 6 Ritus (seasons) namelyVasant (Spring), Grishma (Summer),Varsha (Monsoon), Sharad, Hemant (Autumn), Shishir (Winter) in a year. A
visual representation of this is made in the form of simple illustrations. These are
then cut using natural stone and made into murals in a park. A combination showing the cyclic nature.

leaf sculpture
An all-metal, simple interlaced form of leaves to create a sculpture at the entrance of a residential complex. to add a little bit of playful character to the space.

DASHAVATAR
The mythologies give in-depth
descriptions of his ten avatars over the eons. Each of his incarnations has peculiar characteristics. If you look below
the surface, you would notice a distinctive similarity between the gradual progressions of his avatars and the Theory of Evolution proposed by Darwin. This series of masks was created to draw parallels between the two: theory and
mythology.

Bodhi tree
This unique mixed-media tree installation was created for the boardroom lobby of a corporate headquarters in Hinjewadi, Pune. Designed using sustainable materials, the artwork reflects the company’s values of self-sufficiency, eco-consciousness, and sustainability.

Bodhi tree
A hand-drawn forest mural forms the backdrop, from which a Peepal tree emerges. Beneath it sits a symbolic sculpture of Chanakya, representing wisdom, enlightenment, and knowledge.

The brief was to create an installation that was made using
sustainable materials and

self-sufficient, Eco-friendly, and
sustainable company. The banyan tree is an ecosystem in
Itself, it is native to this region.
Replicating its form and its
shear presence was the
challenge, it is a self-standing
structure with no external
supports.

MUSEUM SPACE
Liberation through education
Educating a girl child is the best way of uplifting the masses. Taking this thought and creating a carefree sculpture of a schoolgirl who is about to soar into the sky. Liberated and free from the shackles that bring her down, on her way to achieve and accomplish all of her dreams.

KALPAVRUKSHA
Kalpavruksha, or the world tree, is a concept that has its origin in Hindu and Jain mythologies. It is an all-giving tree. It protects, gives shade, and all of its parts are useful. This was used as a metaphor for a person’s lifetime of work and dedication to help the community. This was created in his memory.

Rangoli Mural
The piece is meant to welcome
people in the lobby. An abstraction of a rangoli pattern was suggested.

The design was then extruded to form a geometric harmony in layers.

Bench tree
A unique piece placed in the center of the exhibition space, which is a combination of an information display panel with a small sit-out bench. It is designed to resemble a tree; it is a representation of a full blossom of the seed that was planted in the past. Designed in a modular fashion, so it was easy to transport and assemble in minutes. It was given a polish treatment that was made with a hand-cut stencil.

Spice Tree
Conceptual/symbolic tree that encompasses the space and wraps around the walls from ground to top floor, weaves through floors, ceilings, doors, etc.

Spice Tree
These trees have plates in place of fruits, and they depict the various spices and food items. The inner & outer life in a context of food. Outer life consists of the parts of the plant/ trees we see or perceive above ground – Leaves, bark, fruit, flowers etc.

Larger than life
This piece is created to elaborate on a monumental personality. The iconography combines his works with the mythological tale of Krishna, who lifted an entire mountain to protect his people. This single man’s contribution to society and his dedication to uplifting the masses are the messages this piece highlights.
